Thank you, Dion. I have to agree with you. Just because certain older zombie movies are "classics", it doesn't mean they match up to current standards in terms of special effects or contemporary psychological aspects that I am looking for...

Recent flicks means the Dawn of the Dead remake and the can't-miss Shaun of the Dead have to be there.

I haven't seen the aforementioned Undead yet, but heard some good things about it considering its a low budget independent flick.

And of course we were just treated to Land of the Dead, which wasn't a classic but isn't bad. And what was the name of the Peter Jackson flick? Dead Alive I believe...

And while it isn't technically a zombie flick in the traditional sense, you should see 28 Days Later.

and DIon, I get what ya mean... I loved Dawn of The Dead, but it's also really drawn-out...

Porthos, is Undead kinda verging on a comedy like I think I heard? Or Im confused...
